Welcome to the Homepage for the Robert King Presidential Campaign (undeclared)

Robert King is a graduate of Davidson College (B.A.), Duke University Divinity School (M.Div., Th.M.) and studied Moral Theology and Church History at the University of Notre Dame (Ph.D. studies 2000 - 2003), and is currently in his third year of Ph.D. studies in Education (Character Education) at Walden University.  Robert King has served as an Evangelical U. Methodist clergyman (1997 - 2002), online educator (2005 - present), and pro-life leader (1998 - present).  If interested in seeing an alternative to "business-as-usual" G.O.P. politicians, please support my grass-roots campaign for the Republican nomination as I begin testing the waters.  My stand on the issues are:

*100% Pro-Life (opposition to use of human embryos for medical experiments; over-turning Roe vs. Wade)

*Economically, in support of the free market, but with labor protection for U.S. workers plagued by out-sourcing

*Strong pro-Israel, pro-military national defense within a balanced budget that places U.S. defense over economic ties to the Middle East

*Energy independence, especially through increasing emphasis on environmentally-sensitive energy efficiency

*Protection of traditional marriage

*Appointment of judges based upon merit, not ideological persuasion

*Support for public education through merit increases based upon completion of master's degrees, doctoral degrees and improvement on student standardized test scores, but through local school system control

*Opposition to marijuana legalization, and stricter enforcement against prescription drug pill mills

*Free market solutions based upon less governmental regulation, yet still enforcing U.S., state and local environmental legislation safeguarding clean air, water, and protection of U.S. coastal regions

Please support my "testing the waters" by contacting me on the Contact Us page or by sending any donation under the maximum donation amount (i.e. $2,500).

Even donations of $10 - $50 will be extremely helpful.

Donations can be sent (checks made payable "King 2012") to:

King 2012

P.O. Box 4127

St. Petersburg, FL 33731

All donations will be spent in order to test the waters in order to see if my conservative moral platform that seeks greater self-sufficiency economically and militarily can help to substantively shift the current Republican Presidential debate.  For information on the federal laws regulating such exploratory political activity, please see:
